Aggie “Memorial” Park was first established in 1946 and construction of the original building was completed in 1953. On April 21, 1954, Aggie Muster was held at Aggie Park for the first time and the official dedication of the building took place. “This building is dedicated to the memory of those A&Mmen and women everywhere who have preceded us, particularity, to those who have made the supreme sacrifice for their state and country, in order that we, the living, may endure”
Aggie Park is known as the “Home of the San Antonio A&M Club”. It is a place where Texas A&M alumni meet and share fellowship and the strong traditions from Texas A&M, and it is also available for rent to the public. One of the primary goals of the San Antonio A&M Club is to raise money for scholarships for Bexar County Students attending Texas A&M University. In renting the facility, proceeds are available to help fund scholarships for deserving Bexar County students.
Aggie Park maintains a very rich history in San Antonio. We hope that you can share in that history and host an event at our facility that will bring you memories to last a lifetime.
